The country singer is usually known for her laid-back approach to fashion.
But it looks like LeAnn Rimes pulled out all the stops when she stepped out for a Mexican meal in Hollywood to celebrate her 29th birthday last night.
The star looked stunning in a fifties style dress with a plunging neckline, nipped in at the waist with a thick gold belt.

LeAnn stepped out with friends to Mexican restaurant Red O in West Hollywood for a relaxing meal to kick off a full weekend of celebrations.
Though her husband Eddie Cribbin was absent he clearly wasn't far from her thoughts.
When a paparazzo asked the singer what he'd bought for her special day, she made a cheeky reference to lingerie.
The singer flew in to Los Angeles yesterday morning especially so that she could enjoy the occasion surrounded by family and friends, including hair stylist Mateo Sifuentes (pictured).

She has been staying in Chicago while her husband Eddie Cibrian is shooting his show The Playboy Club.
The star was clearly happy to be returning to home turf, tweeting as left Chicago: 'Love you Chi Town, but I'm headed back to the mother land....LA for my bday w/ the fam & friends! Ahhh, I can't wait!'
Spirits were still high as she set off for her evening of fun and food, as she posted: 'Ole’!!! Girls & @mateoS201…. so really Girls Night Out! LOL' on her way out.
Encore! Leanne laughed when the paparazzi waiting outside the restaurant sang Happy Birthday
Let's hope that LeAnn tucked into an extra taco or two.
LeAnn's extremely slender frame has been the cause of much concern in recent weeks, with shots of the star's stick-thin figure sparking comments over the singer's weight loss.
One diner even approached her in a restaurant while she was eating recently in Chicago, and bluntly told the singer: 'You need to eat something.'

Furiously the star took to Twitter in rebuttal, posting: ‘How dare someone come to me at a table w/ the boys and tell me I need to eat something.'
‘What is wrong with people!? As I’m stuffing my face… have another drink and maybe take a class in manners! Cheers!’
But it appears that last night's exchanges were far more amiable- the paparazzi waiting outside even singing Happy Birthday as she left the restaurant.
